Strike calls during European Mobility Week
Commuters in Rome can expect two public transport strikes on 20 and 21 September.
The announcement comes during Rome's participation in European Mobility Week, an annual event which promotes sustainable transport.
The first strike takes place on Friday 20 September and affects eight suburban lines run by Trotta Bus Service, from 08.30-17.00, and from 20.00 until end of service. The lines are 077, 218, 702, 720, 721, 764, 767 and 768.
The second strike is called for Saturday 21 September and affects Cotral coach services in the greater Rome region, including Ponte Mammolo, Tivoli, Palombara and Subiaco, and is scheduled from 20.00 until end of service.
