Register of babysitters.
The city has set up a register of babysitters in Rome who have taken its new accredited training course. Among the subjects studied are pedagogy, developmental psychology and health education. The course is open to residents between 18 and 50 years old who hold a diploma in nursery, primary or elementary school teaching. There were 30 people, all of them women, enrolled on the first course. The next one will begin in May. The course is held twice weekly and lasts a total of 40 hours.
