Repairing roads in Rome.
Maintenance has begun on roads throughout Rome. More than 96 roads are due for attention in the first phase of works, which should be completed by September. Repairs were urgently needed before the heavy rain of the past few months, and now the roads are so full of holes that they are a danger to drivers, particularly motorcyclists. The cost of the work is estimated at 21,5 million.
