Beefed-up security around Olympic Stadium
The upcoming match between AS Roma and newly-crowned Serie A champions Juventus has been brought forward by three hours on Sunday 11 May over security concerns.
The match, which had been scheduled for 20.45, now kicks off at 17.45 on Sunday 11 May, with extra police stationed around the Olympic Stadium.
The security crackdown follows the violence and ugly scenes by "ultra" fans at the Napoli-Fiorentina cup final in Rome on 3 May. The behaviour of Napoli ultra leader Gennaro De Tommaso during the match has led to him being handed a five-year stadium ban.
Despite being assured of second place, AS Roma will be keen to avenge its 3-0 defeat at Juventus Stadium earlier this season.
