15th ATAC bus to go up in flames this year.
A Rome city bus burst into flames on Via Appia Nuova on the afternoon of 12 July, becoming the 15th bus to catch fire in 2019.
The driver managed to evacuate all passengers safely and there were no injuries reported in the incident.
The vehicle, operated by Rome's public transport company ATAC, was serving the 671 route and had been in service since 2004.
