Rome Metro maintenenace for Holy Jubilee.
The last three stops on the southern end of Rome's Metro A line will be closed for repairs on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 November. Buses will be in operation between stations Subaugusta and Anagnina 5.30-01.30 on Saturday 21 November and 5.30-23.30 on Sunday 22 November.
Rome’s Metro A and B lines are already closing at 22.00, with the exception of Saturdays, until 30 November, in preparation for the Vatican's Holy Jubilee of Mercy year which begins on 8 December.
The section of Rome’s Metro B between Tiburtina and Rebbibia is to close completely for maintenance works on the weekend of 28-29 November, with substitute buses available.
Rome's metro network recorded three hoax bomb scares on 19 November: two on Metro A and one on Metro C. All three cases turned out to be false alarms but caused significant disruption for commuters.
