Rome Metro A station of Furio Camillo closed due to escalator problems.
The Furio Camillo station on Rome's Metro A line closed on the morning of 16 October due to problems related to its escalators.
Trains are currently passing without stopping at Furio Camillo, with Rome's public transport company ATAC advising commuters to use the nearby stations of Colli Albani and Ponte Lungo.
Technicians are working to fix the problem to allow for the reopening for the station as soon as possible.
The escalators at Furio Camillo also broke down on 24 April, leading to the closure of the station for several hours.
On 18 October, the Metro A station of Baldo degli Ubaldi will close for "about three months" for escalator repairs, while another Metro A station - Barberini - has been closed for more than 200 days for the same problems.
