Most Rome museums also open on Easter Monday
Rome’s civic museums are open free of charge to Rome residents on Easter Sunday, 5 April, as part of the city's ongoing monthly initiative.
On Easter Monday, 6 April, a public holiday in Italy, most of the museums in the capital will remain open, however a number of them will close on Tuesday 7 April.
The Quirinal Palace will be closed on Easter Sunday while the Vatican Museums are closed on both days.
