State and city museums open for free in Rome on 4 November.

Italy's state-run museums and archaeological sites are open free of charge on Sunday 4 November 2018 as part of the Italian culture ministry's Domenica al Museo programme.
In addition to Domenica al Museo, Rome's municipal-run museums are also free on 4 November - for residents of the capital - for information see Musei in Comune website.
In July Rome introduced the €5 MIC card granting the capital's residents unlimited access to municipal museums for one year. The city announced recently that it has sold 30,000 cards.
