Rome prepares for Simon and Garfunkel.
Rome will play host to the long-awaited concert of Simon and Garfunkel on Saturday 31 July, their first-ever appearance together in Italy. Everything is ready for the free concert in the Fori Imperiali which is a part of the duos Old Friends Tour. In order to reinforce the importance and excitement surrounding the event, the Cinema Warner Moderno in Piazza della Repubblica will have free screenings of The Graduate on Friday from 22.00 to 03.00 and on Saturday from 10.00 to 15.00. The 1967 Mike Nichols film made Dustin Hoffman famous and is celebrated for Simon and Garfunkels unforgettable soundtrack which includes the song Mrs Robinson. The film will be screened in both the Italian and the original English language version.
