Colosseum illuminated at night with almost 300 floodlights.
The Colosseum is once again fully lit at night after four teams of technicians from Rome's energy company ACEA replaced 120 floodlights and reactivated a further 65 lights at the ancient monument.
The Colosseum is illuminated by a total of 298 floodlights, placed internally and exterally, and the ACEA teams worked by night to eliminate disruption to tourists.
