Rome weather alert for Easter Monday
Warning of strong winds in Rome for Pasquetta on 22 April.
Rome's civil protection agency has issued a weather warning for Easter Monday, or Pasquetta, for Rome and the Lazio region on 22 April.
The weather alert is effective from late morning, for the following 24-36 hours, with strong winds or south-easternly gales to be expected, particularly in coastal areas.
Traditionally Romans mark Pasquetta, a public holiday in Italy, with a picnic in one of the city's parks.
