Rome’s anti-alcohol measures dropped
Rome's anti-alcohol measures have been suspended by Lazio's administrative court, the Tribunale Amminstrativo Regionale (TAR).
The court ruled to drop the long-standing edict of the Rome mayor Gianni Alemanno, whose administration had outlawed the sale, consumption and supply of alcohol on streets in the historic centre and on public transport from 23.00-06.00.
