Rome’s cyclists demand action
As more people use bicycles to get around Rome an action group of bicyclists and pedestrians called Di Traffico si Muore (Traffic kills) has initiated a safety campaign in the wake of the latest death of a bicyclist in early November on Via Cristoforo Colombo.
Established in November 2009 after 28 year-old cyclist Eva Bohdalova from the Czech Republic was the victim of a fatal accident involving a taxi on Via dei Fori Imperiali, the group has urged cyclists in Rome to wear red, the
