Rome’s Metro A back to normal hours
The opening hours of Rome's Metro A will return to normal from Saturday 28 April, opening from 05.30-23.30 from Sunday to Thursday, and from 05.30-01.30 on Fridays and Saturdays.
Since 10 April the metro line has been closing at 21.00 during week nights to allow works to reduce noise and vibration, with commuters taking shuttle buses after 21.00.
The project, which has finished 20 days ahead of schedule, included the replacement of gravel supporting the tracks, the laying of sound-absorbing panels, and covering over the outdoor section that crosses over the Tiber, between Flaminio and Lepanto, with laminated glass.
