Majority of Ciampino flights will move to Rome's main Fiumicino airport.
Rome's second airport Ciampino is scheduled to close for renovation and maintenance works from 14-29 October.
During the temporary closure the majority of flights will be transferred to Rome's principal Leonardo Da Vinci airport at Fiumicino.
However the works, which including upgrading the airport's runway, have led to low-cost carrier Ryanair cancelling a number of flights. The company has emailed customers affected by the cancellations.
