Works on Rome metro system ahead of Jubilee year.
Rome's A, B and B1 lines will close at 22.00 from 18 October for maintenance ahead of the Holy Jubilee year which begins on 8 December.
Rome's main metro lines will close early from Sunday to Friday, but retain its regular closing time of 01.30 on Saturdays.
The move was announced by Rome's outgoing transport councillor Stefano Esposito who said he thought the works would be complete by 25 November.
The announcement comes just one month after the Metro A line returned to its normal opening hours after five months of early closures.
