Full tram service between Valle Giulia and Trastevere in Rome.
Rome's Tram 3 line resumes its original route, from Valle Giulia to Trastevere train station, on Monday 8 August.
For many years the terminus had been Piramide but now the tram terminates at the square outside Trastevere train station, running through Via Marmorata in the Testaccio district, with stops at Porta Portese and along Viale Trastevere.
The news means that the tram replaces the 3B bus, which the trams' passengers previously took to continue their journey from Piramide to Trastevere. It also means that there is now a connection between Tram 3 and Tram 8 on Viale Trastevere.
The number 3 runs from Trastevere station each day from 05.45 to 22.20, and departs from Valle Giulia, opposite the Galleria Nazionale d'Arte Moderna, from 05.30-22.00.
