On 16 December some 300 cyclists dressed up as Santa Claus and cycled around Rome to raise funds for the city's Peter Pan association which provides support for families with children suffering from cancer.
The Father Christmases cycled from Piazza Venezia to Piazza Spagna, and in addition to helping the Peter Pan association, the aim of their cycle was to raise awareness of the safety of cyclists on the streets of the capital.
