For those interested in Italian royal memorabilia, Christie's, the fine art auctioneers, are selling a collection of items belonging to Princess Maria Beatrice di Savoia in London on Friday 22 April. This wonderful miscellany of works of art and domestic paraphernalia includes pictures, miniatures, bronzes, dinner services, glasses, walking sticks, royal photograph albums and even assorted linen. Many of the items on sale have a Roman connection and prices are not expected to be high. Lots with an estimate of 2,000 or less will be sold without reserve.
