Year 13 students from Southlands International School in Rome presented gifts to young patients of GB Grassi in Ostia.
Students from Year 13 at Southlands International School brought gifts and festive cheer to children at Ospedale GB Grassi, a nearby hospital in the coastal Ostia district of Rome.
As part of the Southlands Gift Drive, the school's students hand-delivered the presents to the children who are patients of the hospital during the Christmas season.
The school said the gift drive was so successful - resulting in around 200 donated presents - that the remaining gifts would be donated to a number of local children’s homes, orphanages and charities over the days leading up to Christmas.
On behalf of the patients and his team at Ospedale GB Grassi, Dr Marco Bonci thanked Southlands for its "generosity and amazing support."
