Numerous Valentine's Day events are taking place in the capital whose MAXXI Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI secolo and Chiostro del Bramante have special two-for-one ticket offers on Tuesday 14 February.
For a romantic Valentine's aperitivo check out Etablì near Piazza Navona, the Gin Corner in Campo Marzio, Ciampini at the Spanish Steps, Casa Bleve near the Pantheon, or even Tre Scalini in Monti.
Many of the capital’s restaurants have special Valentine’s Day promotions and those with a romantic atmosphere include Settimio all’Arancio near Via Tomacelli, Enoteca Ferrara in Trastevere, São Brazilian-Sushi on Viale Aventino, and Caffé Propaganda near the Colosseum.
For a real treat check out venues such as L’Archeologia on the Appia Antica, Pierluigi near Campo de’ Fiori, or the Michelin-starred Imàgo restaurant in the exclusive Hassler Hotel at Piazza Trinità dei Monti.
