Summer camp for children 5-11 years of age. Science workshops, laboratories and discussions as well as craft and twice-weekly nature excursions in Villa Borghese and to the zoo. Mon-Fri 08.30-16.30. Ongoing enrollment with registration every Fri before intended week of participation (3 days minimum). 80 weekly. Children receive a snack and lunch for an extra 7.50 per day.

The snautomagico, or magical snout summer camp, takes place in three different locations: Bioparco, Casina di Raffaello and the Globe Theatre, all in Villa Borghese. The theme this year is the four elements and the camp includes daily hands-on workshops with science experiments and demonstrations as well as theatre, games and visits to the animals homes accompanied by zookeepers. Mon-Fri 08.30-16.30. 90 weekly (e80 for siblings) or 20 a day with lunch included.
Explora Childrens Museum

For children 3-12 years old. Younger children can play at the museum while older children take morning walks and play games in Villa Borghese. The museum is divided into four sections - the human body, the environment, public life and communications - and activities include following a letter through the postal system, producing a television programme, shopping at the supermarket and sitting at the cash register to take money. Children have use of the museums multimedia materials and do computer drawing as well as arts and crafts. Mon-Fri 08.00-16.30. e135 weekly or e30 daily (including two snacks and lunch).
Playhouse in Villa Borghese

Children 4-10 years. This playhouse offers the opportunity for independent play with workgroups for building, colouring and painting as well as theatre. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sat-Sun on the hour from 11.00 until 18.00. Tues-Fri, hour-long sessions starting at 15.00 and 16.00. Mon closed. e3/session, booking obligatory.

Theres a theatre summer camp 08.30-17.30 every day. e110 per week (snacks and lunch included). Also outdoor theatre festival with Punch and Judy puppet shows and much more for kids every evening 18.00 and 21.00.
