Villa Borghese will host the Concorso Ippico di Piazza di Siena, the international showjumping competition, from 22-25 May. This year the tournament, now in its 71st year, will be part of the new "Super League" circuit of events featuring the world's top eight showjumping nations. On 23 and 24 May riders will compete for the Coppa delle Nazioni and the Premio Roma, and on 25 May there will be a procession of 20 vintage carriages from the mid 18th- to the mid 20th-centuries, before the tournament closes with the traditional Carosello dei Carabinieri.
