Around 50,000 people are expected to attend the gastronomic fair Gusti dEuropa taking place at the Fiera di Roma from 8 June-11 June. The European Union has provided financial backing for the fair, which will showcase 2,500 products on 200 stands from ten European countries. Entrance to the event is free, and members of the public will be given a free carnet for ten tastings at the door with which they will be able to sample breads, cheeses, wines, olive oils, puddings and meats from across the region.
