The rat pack returns to Rome’s Via Veneto
The street made famous in the 1950s by Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack has hit the headlines with a very different kind of rat pack. Residents are alarmed at the daytime incidences of rats running along pavements and even into shops and restaurants. This was bad news for the locals but even worse for the exclusive five-star tourist industry synonymous with the street.
