With pollution levels in Rome once again over the permitted levels, Thursday 17 March will be the tenth day of restricted traffic in the city. Vehicles with licence plates ending with an odd number will not be allowed to circulate in the "fascia verde" - the green zone - between the 09.00 -12.00 and 15.00 - 19.00. All vehicles that run on methane, GPL, electricity and the most-recent models, classified as Euro 4, are allowed to circulate freely.
