Road closures and detours in EUR area of Rome for Formula E.

Numerous detours are in place in the southern EUR suburb of Rome ahead of the city's Formula E electric car race on 13 April, leading to major traffic congestion in the area.

The main roads affected include the section of Via Cristoforo Colombo between Viale Oceano Atlantico and Via Laurentina (closed until 15 April) and the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) junction on the Pontina in the direction of EUR (closed until 13 April).

The Formula E event was introduced, in fluent English, by Rome's mayor Virginia Raggi alongside racing drivers Sam Bird and Robin Frijns on 11 April.
