Traffic restrictions in Rome.
On Thursday 17 February vehicles with licence plates ending in an odd number will not be able circulate in the "fascia verde" in Rome. This is the sixth Thursday when private traffic on the city roads in the "green zone" has been restricted according to number plate, to help reduce air pollution. The restriction will be in force from 09.0012.00 and from 15.0019.00.
For details of the green zone see page 114 of the 2004 edition of "Tutto Citt" the city guide and map which comes with the telephone directories.
