Employees of trains operating in Lazio are holding on strike on Friday 8 March from 09.00-17.00 causing major disruption to commuters in the region.
The strike action has been organised by the Lazio branches of the FILT, FIT, UILT, UGL and FAST trade unions. The protest only involves regional trains; national services are not affected.
The only line to be guaranteed during this time is the Leonardo Express between Termini and Fiumicino airport, with an additional shuttle bus serving the route for the duration of the strike.
