Venice Film Festival 2007.
The 64th Venice International Film Festival runs from 29 August to 8 September this year at the Venice Lido. Films in the Golden Lion, Corto Cortissimi (shorts), Orizzonti (new trends) and Out of Competition sections will be screened over eleven days. In addition, Quentin Tarantino will present a retrospective of spaghetti westerns, and the actor Johnny Depp is to present director Tim Burton with the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement on 5 September.
