A special concert in memory of Pope John Paul II will be held on Wednesday 13 April in Rome at the Basilica of S. Maria degli Angeli, Piazza della Reppublica at 21.00, when the orchestra and chorus of the Rome opera house will offer a free performance of Verdis Requiem Mass. The Mass will be conducted by Gian Luigi Gelmetti with soloists, Barbera Frittoli, Daniela Barcellona, Massimo Giordano and Orlin Anastassov.

Tickets for the performance will be available at the opera house ticket office at Piazza Beniamino Gigli 1, on Tuesday 12 April from 09.00 17.00
