Versace has opened a new boutique in Rome’s Piazza di Spagna, at the corner of Via di S. Sebastianello.
Described as a concept store, the boutique was designed by Donatella Versace in collaboration with London architect Jamie Fobert (ex David Chipperfield Architects) who Versace chose to “reinvigorate her global retail empire.”
The interior of the 240-sqm shop mixes contemporary and traditional, with perspex, brass and Byzantine-style marble mosaics. The store sells Versace’s prêt-à-porter collections for men and women, as well as the brand’s accessories.
Versace has its men's collection in Rinascente, Galleria Alberto Sordi, its women's collection at Rinascente at Piazza Fiume and a boutique in Via Veneto.
