A multi-faith service will be held on Remembrance Day Fri 11 Nov to commemorate the dead of two world wars and subsequent conflicts. The ceremony, organised by the British Embassy, takes place at 10.45 at the Rome Commonwealth war cemetery in Via Nicola Zabaglia, near Porta S.Paolo. For more information tel. 0642202235.

A further three services will be held on Remembrance Sunday on 13 Nov. The first is an ecumenical service at the war cemetery at 09.30, organised by Churches Together in Rome. At 10.00 there will a service organised by The Pontifical Beda College and the church of S.Silvestro in Capite, the church for English-speaking Roman Catholics in Rome, at the church in Piazza S. Silvestro. At 11.00 there will also be a Remembrance Day ceremony at the Anglican church of All Saints in Via del Babuino 153/b
