Three new rectors have recently taken up posts with English-speaking Roman Catholic churches in Rome.

Father Louis Brennan has come to S. Isidoros after 13 years as a provincial delegate in Dublin of the Irish province of the Franciscan order of Friars Minor. He replaces Father John Wright, who has returned home to a position in Belfast. S. Isidoros in Via degli Artisti 41 (off Via Veneto) is currently the post-novitiate house of friars from Ireland, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and Italy.

Father Anthony Finn is the new rector at St Patricks in Via Boncompagni 31 (off Via Veneto), the Irish national church in Rome and home of the Irish Augustinians. He arrives from Cork in Ireland, where he was prior for eight years. The former rector, Father Michael Brennock, has moved to the provincial council in Limerick, Ireland.

Father John Fitzpatrick has arrived at S. Silvestro Church in Piazza S. Silvestro after nine years as provincial in Dublin of the Irish province of the Pallottine Fathers. He was previously vice rector at S. Silvestro 1976-78. Father Denis OBrien, who was the rector for nine years, is now vice-rector. S. Silvestro is the church for English-speaking Catholics in Rome.
