Wild dieting comes to Italy.

The eating habits of the Italians are changing. The ritual of sitting down at table twice a day is disappearing and more and more Italians are eating on the run, in the car, in front of the computer and in the office. The Italian dieters magazine "Dimagrire" has interviewed 100 experts in nutrition and diet and they have found that whereas 20 years ago the Italians were spending on average 50 - 60 minutes a day eating at table they now spend only 25 - 30 minutes a day and the rest of the time they "wild diet". mainly on fast food. The change in the eating habits may be partly due to the fact that people now work non-stop hours because offices and shops no longer close for a long lunch break.
