2-23 July 2003. After many years of wandering, S. Cecilias summer season is finally lodged at the academys new home at the Auditorium Parco della Musica. Concerts are in the cavea, the open-air theatre at the centre of the three concert halls. Much of the light programme is dedicated to film. All events begin at 21.00.

7 July. The Portuguese ensemble Madredeus in Movimento.

9 July. The orchestra and choir of the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia, conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. Music by Mozart and Orff.

17 July. Roby Lakatos and his ensemble in As Time Goes By: music from the films Casablanca, The Third Man, The Godfather and Il Tempo dei Gitani.

21 July. Maria Bethania and Gilberto Gil in Brasil, Brasil!!!

23 July. The orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di S. Cecilia conducted by Tim Brock in a programme of film music entitled The Golden Years of Hollywood.
