Actor Julian Sands reads poetry of Keats, Shelley and Byron in Rome
Julian Sands returns to Rome's Keats-Shelley House for three readings on 6 and 7 September.
6-7 Sept. Celebrated English actor Julian Sands reads the poetry of Keats and Shelley at Rome's Keats-Shelley House on three occasions over 6 and 7 September.
The readings will celebrate the recently-published anthology John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley: Essential Poems, and She Walks in Beauty: the Best of Byron, all published by the Keats-Shelley Memorial Association, edited by Duncan Wu and with contributions by Sands.
The first reading takes place on Friday 6 September at 18.00. The next day, Saturday 7 September, there will be a reading at 17.00, with a second reading at 19.00.
Following each reading, guests will have the chance to meet the actor and have books signed by him.
