African Metropolis: An imaginary city
22 June-4 Nov. Described as a "detailed overview of the artistic and cultural scene of the African continent", this exhibition at MAXXI comprises the works of around 40 artists reflecting on Africa's ongoing social and cultural transformations. The exhibition includes works by Abdulrazaq Awofeso, Godfried Donkor, Nicholas Hlobo, Adboulaye Konaté, Pascale Marthine Tayou and Amina Zoubir. For full details see MAXXI website.
