Afro. Dal Progetto all' Opera 1951-1975
11 Oct-6 Jan 2013. This exhibition celebrates Afro in the centenary of his birth with an exhibition that gathers the works created during his most prolific period. With a selection of about 35 significant works, the exhibition illustrates the different phases of conception and elaboration of the artist’s paintings mostly unpublished in Europe, made by Afro during those ten years of hard work, starting with the preparatory sketch all the way to the finished painting.
