Roma Imperiale. 5-11 June 2006. Imperial banquets, parades, gladiator performances, markets, music and dancing will bring back to life the historical reign of the emperor Settimio Severo. This event, organised by the town of Albano Laziale, the civic museums and Colline Romane is held at the Severian ampitheatre in Albano Laziale next to the water cisterns devised by the emperor himself.

The archaeologist and director of the civic museums of Albano, Giuseppe Chiarucci, is presenting his book Settimio Severo e la II Legione Partica on 8 June at 18.30.
