Ferri who was the star dancer of the Royal Ballet, American Ballet Theatre and La Scala retired officially in 2007 but is now rebuilding a new and very selective stage career for herself at 50 plus.

She had just made a hugely successful come-back in Wayne McGregor's new choreography for the royal Ballet, Woolf Works, which premiered in May in London. Her other guest dancers have still to be announced.
