28-31 Jan. Rome’s bi-annual fashion week AltaRomAltaModa, which opens on 29 Jan, showcases the best in Italian and international fashion and is an important platform for younger stylists.

This year the fashion show moves from its former base at S. Spirito in Sassia near the Vatican to the Ex Dogana (former custom house) in the S.Lorenzo district.

Established in 1998, the Rome fashion week presents two annual collections, in July and January, and is chaired by Silvia Venturini Fendi, the boss of Italian fashion house Fendi.
