Arms and America: Gun Violence in the United States in Global Perspective
The American Academy of Rome presents "Arms and America: Gun Violence in the United States in Global Perspective", a talk by Academy director Christopher S. Celenza, and American history professor Jill Lepore on Tuesday 14 May at 18.00.
The talk is the latest event in the academy's "Conversations That Matter" series that features discussions on gun violence, gun lobbies and the Second Amendment in the US, and America's role as a global military power.
The talk will be held in English, with simultaneous translation available. Seating on a first-come, first-served basis.
