Ars Ludi homage to Edgard Varèse.
24 Nov. This lively percussion group play three pieces in homage of the French composer Edgard Varèse who spent a large part of his working life in the US. The piece Déserts is accompanied by the video Bill Viola made for the music in 1994. Varèse's surviving completed works are not numerous but he is known as the father of electronic music.
