Artificially Reconstructed Habitats
28 April-4 June 2005
This exhibition provides an entry point to the installation-type art of Dublins Finola Jones. The artist is flexible when it comes to the medium of her works, preferring to gain inspiration from the idea itself. Artificially Reconstructed Habitats, as such, is both a multimedia work involving audio and video, as well as a sculpture. The exhibition looks at the coexistence of nature and culture in a variety of normal situations and reflects Jones interest in the animal, human and social condition.
Finola Jones has exhibited her work in cities all over the world including Belfast, London, New York, Sydney and Warsaw.
