The Association of British Ex-pats in Italy is holding a pub quiz to raise funds for the Rome Samaritans on Friday 6 July. The quiz takes place at the Porta Pia pub inside the British embassy on Via XX Settembre 80A, from 18.00. Questions will cover topics relating to royalty, jubilee and Olympic celebrations as well as a sprinkling of British history, sports, traditions, geography, music and literature. Organisers aim to have six teams with a maximum of 6 or 7 participants in each team. Donation for association members is €10 and for guests of members €15.00. The price includes participation in quiz and refreshments but drinks must be acquired separately at the bar. Members need to book by email to britishexpatsinitaly@gmail.com for themselves and guests and then pay donation at the door. All bookings must be received no later than Wednesday 4 July, a booking must include the full name of member and any guests as indicated on ID which must be shown at embassy entrance. For security reasons no admittance will be allowed to persons not on the entry list.
