Austrian cinema festival in Rome
28 June-13 July. A free open-air festival of new Austrian cinema is held in the gardens of the Austrian Cultural Forum, in the Valle Giulia area, from 28 June-13 July.
Highlights of the Sotto le stelle dell'Austria include Chucks, which will be introduced by Cornelia Travnicek, the writer whose story inspired the film (28 June), Einer von uns by Stephan Richter (30 June), Catching Haider by Nathalie Borgers (5 July), and Paradies: Hoffnung by Ulrich Seidl (13 July).
All films shown at 21.00 in original language versions with Italian subtitles. See website for details.
