An interesting programme presented by the excellent Swiss ensemble with a work by the young Italian choreographer Francesca Lattuada and a recent creation by the young superstar of Belgian dance, Cherkaoui. Loin questions the distance between human beings, between eras and cultures. Cherkaoui, places his dances in a universe of apparently conflicting elements the Arabic decor, the Oriental costumes and the European instrumental music of the 17th century which eventually give rise to a united whole.
