Basim Magdy at MAXXI
15 Sept-30 Oct. Exhibition titled The Stars Were Aligned For a Century of New Beginnings by Egyptian artist Basim Magdy, fresh from being awarded the Deutsche Bank prize Artist of the Year 2016.
The show includes photographs, video, drawings and installations, which challenge the boundaries between reality and fiction and ask why mankind continues to make the same mistakes.
